Presented by Mary McGoldrick, MS, RN, CRNI®, served as home care and hospice surveyor for The Joint Commission for 12 years and as a subject matter expert on infection prevention and control in-home care to the CDC-HICPAC and Association for Professionals in Infection Control and Epidemiology’s (APIC) committee, and advisory to The Joint Commission (TJC) and the Community Health Accreditation Partner’s (CHAP) subcommittee to update the infection prevention and control standards.
Mary has been an expert speaker for NAHC and conducted webinars for home care surveyors for TJC, ACHC, CHAP, and the VNAA and a author including the first and second editions of the APIC book on Infection Control in Home Care and Hospice and the Home Care Infection Prevention and Control Program manual.
