IHCCA Reorganizes and Schedules Free 2021 Webinars
Welcome!
Idaho Health Continuum of Care Alliance’s (IHCCA) work continues! The mission is to bring together healthcare leaders and the community to exchange ideas, provide education and take action in assisting individuals in receiving the highest quality of health and personal care in their Idaho homes and other community settings.
We are excited for 2021, and it is a year of change with the COVID-19 pandemic amplifying and redefining how healthcare is delivered. Centers of Medicare and Medicaid moving toward value-based healthcare models and the rapid growth in telehealth are now more critical than ever to have our input to protect patients, employees, and business. As this work progresses, it requires collaboration from payors, providers, and services serving a growing population in Idaho. IHCCA is an alliance focused on helping people stay in their homes, and more than ever, we are working with and identifying the rising risk, Social Determinants of Health, and collaborating with community resources.
IHCCA has a very active virtual Policy and Legislative committee meeting every third Tuesday of the month from 4 PM to 5:30 PM. The committee emphasizes Idaho’s community-based services affected by the current and proposed legislation and best practices presented by industry leaders. Some of the recent items are Advance Care Directives, POST, upcoming negotiated rulemaking, and the caregiver crisis.
We are excited for 2021 as we bring you our newest platform, Project HELP. HELP stands for Healthcare Engagement and Learning Partnerships. Project HELP is a virtual FREE webinar with Idaho’s emphasis on community-based resources, current and proposed legislation and best practices presented by subject matter experts and industry leaders. They occur on the first Thursday every other month from 9-10 AM.

In healthcare’s current financial state, we know how every dollar is valued and needed to care for our community. Idaho Health Continuum of Care Alliance has moved to a non-dues membership. By keeping our costs low, we can bring you relevant, current, and rich content through modest sponsorships from local and national companies. Again, that is why all our webinars are FREE, but you must register in advance. To subscribe to news and future events, email admin@IHCCA.org
